If you’re looking for a scenic spot for your Chicago engagement session, Ping Tom Memorial Park might be the place for you. Cheyenne and Jeff’s picnic engagement session at the park was such a sweet way to celebrate the two of them and spend some quality time with one another. Cheyenne and Jeff met at work at a boat company at Navy Pier where Cheyenne worked in the sales department and Jeff worked as a captain. Cheyenne’s coworkers were raving about Jeff’s eyes, and she knew she had to see them, and that was that! They went and saw a movie for their first date and they fell in love and have been together ever since.

Ping Tom Memorial Park

Knowing they wanted to include the city they fell in love in for their engagement session, Cheyenne and Jeff ended up choosing Ping Tom Memorial Park for their photos.  Ping Tom Memorial Park is located at the edge of the South Loop.  Just east of Pilsen, the park has a beautiful view of the Chicago skyline, lots of grassy space and a view of the south branch of the Chicago river.  The sunsets at Ping Tom Memorial Park are absolutely breathtaking so to be able to spend the evening there with these two documenting this sweet time in their relationship was such a unique experience.  

Their Picnic Engagement Session

Cheyenne and Jeff planned a picnic engagement session with the help of Cheyenne’s sister, the owner of Chach Lux, a picnic and event planning company.  Cheyenne and Jeff love spending quality time with one another so a picnic in the park was a perfect way to celebrate their love with one another.  Chach Lux set up a picnic table with pampas grass, a beautiful blanket and champagne for their engagement session, and it was such a fun way to celebrate. Ping Tom Memorial Park was the perfect choice for their picnic engagement session and Cheyenne and Jeff were both SO happy with how everything turned out!
