Working with Courtney and Tom was such a treat! Our initial engagement session plans changed due to the drop in temperature and snow storm that Chicago had, but we managed to find an alternative place to celebrate their recent engagement!
Tom proposed to Courtney at Montrose Harbor on Halloween, 2020. With the skyline in the background, both wanted to incorporate that in their professional engagement session. We initially planned to shoot at the Promontory Point, however, with the snow and the freezing temperature, being at the lakefront was not the best idea. So I suggested a few spots that still had a skyline view, and let the two pick.
We ended up at Lincoln Park’s beautiful Nature Boardwalk. I enjoy bringing clients here because you get the best of both worlds. Nature and skyline.
Don’t even get me started with the honeycomb pavilion. This structure adds a beautiful texture and background to any photo. Not to mention a great frame when you face the skyline and have your couples stand or dance in the middle of the pavilion.
Tiny flurries started falling down which added more magic to Courtney and Tom’s photos. AAHHH!! LOVE IT!!
When you get me as your engagement or wedding photographer, you will have more than enough ring photos because I love showing off that bling! You’re welcome!
