Michelle and Fabian’s engagement session at Fort Sheridan Beach in Highland Park Illinois was the perfect sunset beach session. Between the beautiful cotton candy sky, having the place all to ourselves, and the energy between these two there is just so much to love.

About the Couple

Before we get into their engagement session at Fort Sheridan Beach let’s find out a little more about Michelle and Fabian. They originally met while attending UIC and while they started out as just friends that friendship grew and developed into the love you see here today. They often would visit the gym together in college which quickly became one of their common dates as their relationship grew. Fitness is a huge part of both of their lives still and something they love doing together. Since they became official the two have become engaged, bought their first house together, and are now planning out their wedding. 

Fort Sheridan Beach

For their engagement session we chose a sunset session and I am so happy we did as the sky was SO beautiful. We started our session walking along the path down by the water, taking our time and enjoying the scenery. Michelle and Fabian have such a fun and loving relationship, so being able to capture them being themselves and enjoying one another’s company was such a treat! We eventually made our way down to the beach and had a blast frollicing in the sand before heading back inland to some of the fields at Fort Sheridan for the rest of their engagement session. As we were wrapping up our session the sky changed from its cotton candy pinks to a darker shade of blue as the moon popped out which was such a great note to finish their engagement session on.

You really can’t go wrong with a sunset engagement session at Fort Sheridan Beach, and Michelle and Fabian’s is undeniable proof of that. I’m so glad I was able to be a part of their engagement and capture these emotions as they get ready to start this next chapter of their lives together.
